ಪ್ರಬಂಧ ಮಂಡನೆ ಮಾಡುವವರಿಗೆ ಸೂಚನೆಗಳು
ಪ್ರ1. ಪ್ರಬಂಧ ಮಂಡಿಸಲು ನಮಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ಸಮಯವಿರುತ್ತದೆ?
8 ನಿಮಿಷಗಳ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿ + 2 ನಿಮಿಷಗಳ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೋತ್ತರ.
ಈ ನಿಬಂಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಚಾಲಕರು ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಪಾಲಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಬಿಡುವಿನ ವೇಳೆ (ಚಹಾ ವಿರಾಮ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ) ನೀವು ಇತರರೊಡನೆ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಚರ್ಚಿಸುವುದೇ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನಗಳ ಉದ್ದೇಶ. ದಯವಿಟ್ಚು ಅದರ ಲಾಭ ಪಡೆಯಿರಿ. ಸಮಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿ, ಇತರರಿಗೂ ಮಾತನಾಡಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟು ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನವು ಸುಸೂತ್ರವಾಗಿ ಸಾಗುವಂತೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ವಿನಂತಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಬಂಧಮಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ಉತ್ತಮಗೊಳಿಸತು ಕೆಲವು ಸಲಹೆಗಳು (ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ) ಇಲ್ಲಿವೆ.
ಪ್ರ2. ನನ್ನದೇ ಉಡಿಗಣಕವನ್ನು ತರಬಹುದೇ, ಇಲ್ಲವೇ USB ತಂದು ಅಧಿವೇಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಡಬಹುದೇ?
ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಧ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶವಿಲ್ಲ. ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿಯನ್ನು ಮೊದಲೇ ಮಿಂಚಂಚೆ (email) ಮೂಲಕ ನಮಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಡಬೇಕಾಗಿ ವಿನಂತಿ.
ಪ್ರ3. ಯಾವಾಗ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಡಬೇಕು?
ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿಯನ್ನು svakgs@gmail.com ಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅಧಿವೇಶನದ ದಿನದ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 6 ಘಂಟೆಯ ಒಳಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಡಬೇಕಾಗಿ ವಿನಂತಿ. ಇದು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗದಿದ್ದರೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅಧಿವೇಶನದ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನಾವು ಖಾತರಿಪಡಿಸಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ತತ್ಷಣ ನೋಂದಣಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡವರು (Spot registration) ಕೂಡಲೇ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಡಬೇಕು. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಈ ರೀತಿ ಹೆಸರು ನೀಡಿದರೆ (ಕನ್ನಡ ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ಆಂಗ್ಲದಲ್ಲಿ) ನಮಗೆ ಸಹಾಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ನಿಮ್ಮಹೆಸರು_ದಿನ_ಅಧಿವೇಶನದಹೆರಸು.pptx.

ಪ್ರ4. ಅಂತರ್ಜಾಲ ಮುಖೇನ (ಆನ್ ಲೈನ್) ಪ್ರಬಂಧ ಮಂಡನೆ ಮಾಡುವವರೂ ಮಿಚಂಚೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿಯನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೇ?
ಅಧಿವೇಶನದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒದಗಿಬರಬಹುದಾದ ತೊಂದರೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಲು ನೀವೂ ಕೂಡಾ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿಯನ್ನು ಮೊದಲೇ ತಿಳಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೋರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ಪಕ್ಷ ಏನಾದರೂ ಅಡಚಣೆಯಾದರೆ ಕೇವಲ ಶಬ್ದ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದಿಂದ ನೀವು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿಯನ್ನು ಮುದುವರೆಸಿದರೆ, ನಾವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರೆಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.
ಪ್ರ5. ಯಾವ ಶೈಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ (format) ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಬೇಕು (PPT, PDF, Beamer ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ)?
ನಮಗೆ ವಿಂಡೋಸ್ ಗಣಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿಪಡಿಸಲಾಗುವ ಯಾವದೇ ಶೈಲಿಯೂ ಅಡ್ಡಿಯಿಲ್ಲ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಮೂಡಿಬರುತ್ತದೆಂದು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 8:00 – 9:45 ಹಾಗೂ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ 12:30 – 1:30 ರ ವರೆಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲೇ ಅವಕಾಶವಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
ಪ್ರ6. ಧ್ವನಿಸುರುಳಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ಅದು ಕೇಳಿಬರುವಂತೆ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಇದೇಯೇ?

ಪ್ರ7. ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಬಂಧವನ್ನು ಎರಡು ಅಥವಾ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ವಿಷಯಗಳಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಡಿಸಬಹುದೇ?
ಇದು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ನಿಮಗೆ ಯಾವುದು ಅತಿ ಸೂಕ್ತವೆನಿಸುವುದೋ, ಆ ಅಧಿವೇಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಮಂಡಿಸಿ.
ಪ್ರ8. ಪ್ರಬಂಧ ಮಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆಯೇ?
ನಮಗಂತೂ ಆ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಿಲ್ಲ. ಆನ್ ಲೈನ್ ಪ್ರಬಂಧ ಮಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ಇತರರು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರೆ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಮಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಹತೋಟಿ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
ಪ್ರ9. ನಡಾವಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕೃತ ISSN ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯೊಡನೆ ಯಾವಾಗ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿರುತ್ತೀರಿ?
ಈ ವರ್ಷದ ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಿದೆ.
ಪ್ರ10. ಮುದ್ರಿತ ನಡಾವಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಡುತ್ತೀರಾ?
ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಸ್ಮರಣಸಂಚಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ನಡಾವಳಿಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ದೊರೆತೊಡೆನೆಯೇ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.
ಪ್ರ11. ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಬಂಧವನ್ನು ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ಜಾಲತಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕುತ್ತೀರೇನು?
ಹೌದು, ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನದ ನಡಾವಳಿಗಳು ತಯಾರಾದೊಡನೆಯೇ svak.org ಜಾಲತಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕುವ ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಇದೆ.
ಪ್ರ12. ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಬಂಧವನ್ನು ಮುದ್ರಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಹೊರಗುಳಿಯಬಹುದೇ?

Instructions for oral presentations
Q1. How much time do I get for presenting my work?
8 min for presentation + 2 min for questions and answers.
The time restrictions will be enforced by the thematic chairs. You will get ample time to discuss the matter with fellow attendees even after the presentation, during the breaks. Please respect the time of other speakers and facilitate orderly conduct of the sammelana. If you would like to have a few tips for improving your presentations, have a look here.
Q2. Can I bring my own laptop or bring my presentation on a USB stick?
The only option we have provided now is to mail us your presentations. Your own laptops and USB sticks cannot be used for the presentation.
Q3. When and where should I send my presentations?
We request you to mail your presentations to svakgs@gmail.com before 6 AM on the day of your oral presentation. In case that does not happen, we cannot guarantee that your presentation will be available during the session. Spot registrants are required to mail their presentation immediately after the registration.
Please name the file like yourname_date_session_name.pptx

Q4. Will online presenters also have to upload their slides?
To avoid the possibility of technical issues affecting your presentation, we advise you to mail your slides as well. In the worst case, you could make a voice only call and continue your presentation while we advance the slides for you at our end.
Q5. In what format should I prepare my presentation (PPT, PDF, Beamer etc.)
We do not mind as long as it can be viewed on a Windows PC. You can test how your presentation works on the screen every morning between 8:00-9:45 am or between 12:30 – 1:30 pm after you have emailed your slides.
Q6. Will there be support to play audio tracks during a presentation (e.g. music?)
Yes
Q7. Can I present my work under more than one theme at KVS?
Sorry, that would not be allowed. Please present it under the theme you deem as closest.
Q8. Will the presentations be recorded and made public?
Not as per the current plan. However, online presentations may be recorded by other participants and we do not have control over it.
Q9. When will the proceedings be released officially with ISSN number?
By the end of year 2021.
Q10. Will I get a hard copy of the proceedings?
We will update this when we have further clarity.
Q11. Will my work presented at KVS be uploaded in any public domain website?
Yes, we plan to upload the proceedings online on our website svak.org.
Q12. Can I opt out of publishing the contents openly?
